Home - Christ Appeared on a Stonewall Down in a Mine

This event happened after a dynamite blast in the mine of the small village of Kristineberg, Sweden. There were many witnesses of the event and the Christ-like formation was written about in newspapers and also photographed. 

The most known photo can be seen here in this Blog. However, the story and memory about the event is gradually fading away in the mind of the broader public. It deserves to be retold and now also in English for the wider world web audience.

Surprisingly not only the Christ formation appeared on the stone wall but also figures in and around it. The stone formations can actually be linked to words spoken by Jesus from Nazareth nearly two thousand years ago.

I have lived with this story from my teenage years and was also happy to have the opportunity to interview an actual eye witness of the event. Here are some glimpses of what happened.
